The Dallas Fire-Rescue members listed on this page gave their lives serving the citizens of Dallas in their time of need.

Advances in technology, safety awareness and fire education have reduced the number of deaths over the years, of both citizens and firefighters. Dallas Fire-Rescue continues to attempt to reduce citizen deaths, with public awareness courses and installation of no-cost smoke detectors to the citizens of Dallas. Likewise, Dallas Fire-Rescue members now receive advanced training in emergency medicine, hazardous materials, airport rescue firefighting, high angle rope rescue, confined space rescue, all types of fire suppression, and safe driving techniques.

On November 15, 2003 a Special Memorial Service was held at the Dodd G. Miller Training Center and the following members names were added to the Fallen Firefighters Monument.
