Upon hearing calls for help from the
victim, a neighbor in a duplex next door called 9-1-1 and brought
firefighters to the scene. First arriving firefighters forced entry
into the home, and began searching for the victim while other fire
crews began work to suppress the fire. The victim was found
unconscious in a back bedroom of the home, and removed to the front
porch, where she was revived by firefighter/paramedics before being
transported to Baylor Hospital. |
