The fire was contained to the electrical panel in which it started.  The residential unit above the panel, however, received smoke damage.  Little water damage was received to the structure, as firefighters initially used a dry chemical to put out the fire in the panel.  The injured male suffered smoke inhalation after being trapped briefly in an elevator when the building lost power.  Most residents of this building are expected to be able to return to their units as soon as electrical power can be restored.
