4-Alarm Fire Damages Vacant Parking Garage near Downtown Dallas

Times: 1st alarm – 2:09 a.m., 2nd alarm – 2:15 a.m., 3rd alarm – 2:23 a.m., 4th alarm – 2:26 a.m.

             Under control @ 2:53 a.m.                             

 

Cause: Incendiary

           

Injuries: None

 

Damage:  $40,000                                                                                                                                         

Details: Firefighters arrived to find the parking garage, attached to a 4-story vacant building, fully involved in flames.  The fire spread up a wood paneled column, located in the southeast corner of the garage, onto the wood shingled roof.  Witnesses told investigators that they had seen a vagrant leave the premises just before the fire started.  There were no injuries as a result of this fire.
