4^th alarm – 10:58 p.m., Under control @ 11:52 p.m.

Injuries: Two: 8 year-old female and 9 month-old male

Details: Firefighters arrived to find a unit in the 3-story apartment complex fully involved in fire and immediately requested a second alarm. The fire started in a second floor apartment unit and quickly spread to other surrounding units. Firefighters rescued a 9 month-old male and an 8 year-old female from a burning apartment. The male was transported to Medical City and is being treated for smoke inhalation. The female was transported to Parkland Hospital, where she has been admitted. She suffered 2^nd degree burns to one hand and both feet and is in stable condition. A total of twelve units were damaged by heavy smoke and fire. The American Red Cross was on the scene to provide assistance to the 53 individuals that were displaced by the fire. Dallas fire investigators have not determined a cause.
