First-arriving fire crews reported
flames coming from the attic area of this two-story building.
Buildings in this complex are located close to each other, and extra
alarms were added to bring additional personnel to the scene and
minimize opportunities for the fire to spread. Only four units in
one building suffered damage, and volunteers with the American Red
Cross Disaster Action Team were on scene to assist displaced
residents in their relocation efforts. |
