Details: Firefighters arrived to the row of businesses on Lower Greenville Avenue to find smoke coming from the back of the Go Lounge.  First arriving crews entered the building from a rear door and began an interior attack on the fire.  As the fire continued to grow, the decision was made to take all firefighters out of the building and start an exterior attack.  Firefighters surrounded the building with aerial ladders, directing heavy water streams on the fire from above.  Other crews were put in place on the roofs of the businesses to either side of the fire in attempts to keep this large fire contained.  The fire grew to six-alarms as fresh crews were needed to battle this blaze, which took firefighters 2 ½ hours to get under control.  Fire investigators started their investigation early Thursday afternoon, after structural engineers ruled that the building was safe to enter.  There is still no determination on the cause of the fire and there were no injuries reported during this incident.
