5:26 a.m., Out tapped 6:14 a.m. Cause: Accidental - electric stove left on after cooking. Injuries: None - Residents reported that smoke detectors first alerted residents to the presence of fire. Damages:
$ 500,000 - Structure Details: The fire began in an upstairs unit in this two-story apartment complex, and spread through the walls and roof to adjoining apartments. Eight units were destroyed, and an additional eight units were damaged. Volunteers with the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team were on the scene of the incident early, and are assisting the estimated 45 displaced residents in relocation efforts.
