Cause: Undetermined - under investigation.
Fatalities: One - A male, believed to be five years old, died at the scene.
Injuries: One - A 27-year-old female was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital.
Damages: $ 80,000 - Structure
Details:The apartment involved in this fire was a three-story studio. The adult patient suffered injuries when she jumped from an upper floor of the unit to escape the flames. The young fire victim was found in an upstairs bedroom of the unit.
