Dallas Firefighters battle 3-Alarm Blaze

 at a North Dallas Apartment Complex

 

 

Date of Incident: March 15, 2002

 

Location: 10010 Forest Lane, Unit 631, Arbor Park Apartments

Times: 1st alarm – 10:45 p.m., 2nd alarm – 10:53 p.m., 3rd alarm – 11:18 p.m.

             Under control @ 11:57 p.m.

 

Cause: Under Investigation

           

Injuries: Three Year-Old Child: Breathing Difficulty

 

Damage:  $541,000

 

Details: Firefighters responded to a three-alarm fire at the Arbor Park Apartment complex this evening.  Upon arrival, firefighters saw the roof of this 3-story complex fully involved in flames.  The fire seems to have started in apartment unit #631.  It quickly traveled upward and began to spread laterally through the roof.  There were approximately 12 units damaged by the fire.  Those families that have been displaced will be relocated to other apartments within the complex.  There was one patient, a three year-old child, treated on the scene.  The child had difficulty breathing.  No one was transported.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
