On March 25, 2003, at this year’s Dallas Auto Show, the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department will become the beneficiary of a new 2003 Subaru Forester.  David Thomas Auto Group is giving the vehicle to the department in conjunction with Subaru of America, Inc.  David Thomas Auto Group will be opening Subaru of Dallas in the coming months.  Huffines’ Subaru of Lewisville is making the model vehicle available early.

The new Forester will be the first import in the Dallas Fire-Rescue fleet.  It is a top-of-the-line 2.5 XS Premium Package in Cayenne Red Pearl.  It should be a perfect fit for the Arson & Fire Investigation Canine Unit of the department with its patented superior all-wheel drive system, low-profile styling and high fuel efficiency.

Ashly, the Accelerant Detecting Dog, and Arson Captain Debbie Mullins will be on hand at the presentation.  If you have any further questions, please contact Captain Mullins at the above listed numbers.
