1st alarm 7:17 p.m. Cause:
Workers punctured a four-inch gas line while trying to get to an 18-inch Injuries: None Details: Dallas Firefighters were called out to 2110 W. Northwest Hwy early this evening due to the report of a natural gas odor. Upon arrival they came upon a four-inch gas line that was discharging out a large amount of natural gas. Firefighters quickly put a one-alarm on the incident and began to evacuate nearby businesses. A total of three businesses, approximately 180 people, were evacuated from the scene. No injuries were reported. Dallas Fire Department will remain on the scene until the gas line is repaired.
