New Fire Station Opens in Pleasant Grove

Details: Dallas Fire-Rescue is proud to announce the opening of replacement Fire Station 34 in Pleasant Grove. The new facility will replace the existing station located a few blocks away, which has served the community since 1953. The new station will officially go in service at 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, and will house Engine 34, Truck 34, Rescue 34 and Battalion Chief 8. Mayor Laura Miller, along with city leaders and dignitaries, will join Fire Chief Steve Abraira and Dallas Fire-Rescue for a ribbon cutting ceremony to be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. The event will be open to the public and will be an excellent opportunity to get an inside look at this state of the art facility.
