Five Condominiums Damaged in
Four-Alarm Fire

Cause: Electrical wire failure-in wall of hot water heater closet.
Injuries: None.
Damages: $ 50,000 - Structure
Details:Five condominium units were impacted by this fire: two suffered fire damage, and three others suffered damage from smoke and water. When the fire reached the attic above these units, fire officials added two extra alarms, quickly bringing additional firefighters to stop the spread of the fire through the attic. There were no heat-related incidents reported among evacuated residents or among firefightersat this event.
