Three Alarm Blaze Displaces Several Families in Northeast Dallas

A fire that started in a downstairs apartment unit went unnoticed until it became large enough to catch the attention of a passing motorist and several residents of the Forestwood on the Creek Apartment complex.  A few minutes later, Dallas Fire-Rescue crews went into action, stopping the growth of the fire before it consumed the entire building.  Of the twelve units in the apartment building, only four were actually damaged by fire.  The other eight were damaged by smoke and/or water.

Fire Investigators are still on the scene trying to determine what caused the fire.

There were no reported injuries.
