Dallas Fire-Rescue Supports the Children United Kid Kit Program

The Dallas Fire-Rescue department will sponsor the Children United Kid Kit Program throughout the month of August 2001. Children United is founded upon the principle of Children helping Children.  This program will focus on providing less fortunate children in our community with donated school supplies for the coming school year. Dallas Fire-Rescue will place a Children United Kid Kit box in each Dallas fire station. The Kid Kit boxes will be used for the collection of donated school supplies. Donations will be taken between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. from August 1, 2001 to August 31, 2001. To donate, all you have to do is go by any Dallas fire station, pick up a Kid Kit list, check off the items you will be donating, purchase the items and return them to any Dallas fire station. It’s that easy! Please join us in supporting the Kid Kit Program. Help us provide these children with the tools needed to succeed in their education.

The Dallas Fire Department will have a press conference regarding the Kid Kit Program at Dallas Fire Station 53 on July 30, 2001 at 9:30 a.m. Dallas Fire Station 53 is located at 1407 John West Rd. in Dallas. Those that will be present are as follows:
