2002 Children United “Kid Kit” Campaign

Details: Dallas Fire-Rescue Chief Steve Abraira will host a press conference on
August 1, 2002 to kick off this year’s campaign to collect school supplies for
children in need. Fifty-four Dallas Fire
Stations will serve as collection points for these supplies, in addition to
locations being provided by the Dallas Police Department, Office Depot (21
locations), the Wal-Mart store at 12300 Lake June Road in Balch Springs, Regis
Property Management and the Unity Church of Dallas, located at 6525 Forest
Lane.
