Dallas Fire Academy to Graduate 42 New Firefighters for Area Departments

Details: For Forty-two new firefighters from two classes at the Dodd J. Miller Training Academy will be sworn in to four area fire departments. The official ceremony is a time for family and friends to join in the recognition of their accomplishment. After the 15-month course, these individuals have successfully completed fire suppression training and have also achieved paramedic certification. They will begin their active duty assignments at fire stations in Dallas County.
