Details: The night manager of the Manor House apartments heard an explosion early this morning that caused the entire building to lose all power. The fire started in the basement of this 25-story building due to an electrical failure in an electrical raceway that services the main electrical switch gear. Management has made efforts in contacting an electrical technician for an immediate repair. The residents of the Manor House will be without power for approximately 6 to 12 hours. Manor House Apartments will provide accommodation for displaced residents in a nearby hotel. Firefighters assisted residents into their apartments to collect personal belongings and pets. Fortunately, no one was injured in this fire. The fire resulted in total damages of $110,000.
