Dallas Fire-Rescue emergency crews, arriving within minutes, found a frightening scene of panic-stricken tenants running and evacuating their burning apartments.  The fire had raced through the 2-story apartment complex, and quickly escalated to 5-Alarms.  Crews immediately concentrated on rescuing and evacuating the residents. 16 units were damaged by fire, smoke and water, and approximately 100 adults and children were displaced.  The American Red Cross and apartment management is currently assisting the families with their immediate needs.
