DALLAS FIREFIGHTERS FIGHT
THREE-ALARM BLAZE
On Monday,
September 29, 2003 at 10:49 a.m. 60 Firefighters, five Chief
Officers and two Rescue Ambulances responded to a multi-alarm
apartment fire at the Windsor Park Apartments located at 10000
Walnut St. in North East Dallas. The first arriving companies
reported out at the two-story apartment complex with lots of fire.
Firefighters confined the fire damage to four units of apartment
complex. Dallas Fire-Rescue extinguished the fire in forty-five
minutes. One female was transported to a local medical facility with
a minor injury. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no
damage estimates have been released. Apartment management and the
American Red Cross are working together to identify the displaced
residents and provide them with temporary housing.
