UPDATE ON YESTERDAY’S THREE-ALARM FIRE AND THE FATAL FIRE ON MILLSTONE.


Dallas Fire-Rescue’s Arson division has released the cause of yesterday’s three-alarm fire at 10000 Walnut, the Windsor Apts.  The fire was caused by children playing with a heat source (children playing with fire).  The fire caused $300,000 in damages to the building and $10,000 to the contents.  One female was transported to Presbyterian Hospital with minor injuries.

 The cause of the two-alarm fire at 7802 Millstone, which claimed the life of a resident, has not been released.  However, the victim has been identified as 48 year-old, Desiree Wedlake.  The blaze caused $50,000 in damages to the structure and $8,000 to the contents.
