Five-Alarm Fire causes Major Damage

 to 3-Story Town Homes under Construction

Cause:                        Under Investigation

 

Injuries:                      Four- Engine 19 was involved in a major vehicle accident while in route to 4514 Holland Ave. All four firefighters were taken to Baylor hospital with minor injuries.

 

Damages:                   $350,000-Structure

                                   

Details:                              Dallas Firefighters arrived at 4514 Holland Avenue to find the 3-story complex fully involved in flames.  Residents occupied a portion of this complex.  Across from the occupied town homes was a section of town homes that were under construction.  The rear sections, building A & B, were consumed by fire.  This fire went to five alarms due to the need of additional firefighters.  There were no injuries as a result of this fire.  Fire Investigators will be on site this morning to determine what may have caused this fire.
