Cause: Grease ignited in vent-a-hood

Injuries: None

Damage: $240,000

Details: Firefighters arrived to the large grocery store to find fire already venting from the roof.  It appears that the fire started in the back of the store.  There was a deli area in the back of the store with offices above that.  The fire started in the deli area when some grease in the vent-a-hood was ignited, and quickly spread to the office area above.  Firefighters made a quick and aggressive attack on the fire with companies entering from the front and the back, attempting to cut the fire off.  The fire was contained to the back of the building in the deli and office areas, but there was considerable smoke and water damage to the inventory inside the store.  There were no injuries reported during this incident.
