The Dallas Fire-Rescue Department is proud to announce the opening of new Fire Station #40, located at 2440 Kirnwood Dr., which will go in service for Emergency Operations at 0700 hours on Tuesday, February 5, 2008. Station 40 will be assigned to District 5 and house Engine 40 and a Peak Demand Rescue. Engine 40 will initially be a paramedic engine and eventually a satellite HazMat company.
